Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of the Trustinera AI platform and website. Last updated: March 2026.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Trustinera AI platform, website, APIs, or any associated services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
2. Description of services
Trustinera AI provides an enterprise-grade AI platform for financial data operations, including transaction categorisation, reconciliation, risk monitoring, audit trail generation, and related tools ("Platform"). Access to the Platform is provided on a subscription basis as described on our Pricing page.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time with reasonable notice. We will endeavour to provide at least 30 days notice for material changes to paid features.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at security@trustinera.ai.
- API keys are account credentials — treat them as passwords. Do not expose them in client-side code or public repositories.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including financial services regulations applicable to your business
- Process data you do not have the legal right to process
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services or another customer's data
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without prior written consent
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage or interfere with the Services
- Circumvent any usage limits or rate limiting mechanisms
- Resell or sublicence access to the Services without our express written consent
5. Your data
You own your data. We do not claim ownership of any transaction data, financial records, or other data you submit to the Platform ("Customer Data").
By submitting Customer Data, you grant Trustinera AI a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that data solely for the purpose of delivering the contracted Services to you.
We will not access, use, or disclose Customer Data except: (a) as required to provide the Services; (b) as you direct; (c) as required by law. Full data handling obligations are set out in the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of your contract for paid plans.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, algorithms, models, documentation, trademarks, and design, are the intellectual property of Trustinera AI Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
You retain all intellectual property rights in Customer Data. Model improvements derived from aggregated, anonymised patterns across the platform (not identifiable to you or your data) may be used to improve our models generally. Customer-specific model improvements (Corrections API data) are not shared with other customers and, on Enterprise plans, belong exclusively to your model.
7. Payment and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
- All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT, which will be charged where applicable.
- Failed payments may result in suspension of access after a 7-day grace period with notice.
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Annual plan cancellations are subject to the terms in your order.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 60 days notice. Price changes do not apply to the current annual billing period.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Services are provided "as is." We do not warrant that the Services will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that results obtained from the Services will meet your specific requirements.
- Trustinera AI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
- Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim; or (b) £500.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access with immediate effect if you materially breach these Terms, or with 30 days notice for any other reason on paid plans.
On termination, your right to access the Services ceases. You may export your Customer Data for 30 days after termination using the export functionality in your account. After this period, data is deleted in accordance with our retention policies and your DPA.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes to paid subscribers via email. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
